LG OTA Explainer

DISH Network’s marketing team (OneTen Creative) brought me on to refresh their original “OTA” explainer video. Fun Fact: OTA refers to the “over the air” antenna that you can get free channels from! After thoroughly researching Sling TV’s existing style guide and branding, I pitched styleframes that would expand up their blue “branded” device look and leverage an existing 2D transition they had, while still clearly communicating the messaging from the original video. I was responsible for all aspects of production (beside the final VO and the 2D “wipe” transition), including modeling, shaders, lighting/rendering, 2D/3D animation, editing, stock music/footage sourcing, and scratch VO. OneTen’s internal copywriters handled the script and VO recording, and QuickFrame delivered the final mix.
